Justin's therapeutic interests include relational challenges, significant life changes, sexuality, childhood trauma, grief, changes in beliefs and spirituality, questions of meaning in life, anxiety, and depression. Justin's approach is rooted in relational psychodynamic theory while integrating existential-humanistic, emotionally-focused, and acceptance and commitment theories. Justin recognizes the important role culture plays in our lives and affirms clients of all identities and backgrounds.

Justin earned an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from George Fox University in Newberg, OR. His education highlighted family systems, multicultural competency, trauma recovery, and spirituality in clinical practice. Upon graduation, Justin received the Outstanding Clinical Mental Health Counseling Student award. He has several years of experience offering crisis, personal, and vocational support in a university setting and has practiced as a psychotherapist with Mindful Counseling GR since 2019.
