Your story, your pain, and your collection of struggles are unique to you. There is no one-size fits all approach to therapy. Lindsey will spend time understanding exactly what you are experiencing and why, so that when you start making changes that improve your life, they will stick. She believes a good therapeutic relationship includes trust, authenticity, freedom, and positive outcomes.
Lindsey graduated with a Masters in Social Work from Western Michigan University in 2010. She is experienced primarily in individual work with adolescents and adults from all backgrounds and genders. Since becoming a mother, one of Lindsey’s passions has been to help others cope with the often-misrepresented realities of motherhood; she specializes in the areas of perinatal mood disorders and women’s issues (including infertility, pregnancy, and the “empty nest”). Additionally, Lindsey has areas of focus related to stress of parenting, grief and loss, relationship concerns, professional burden, and bringing healing to those who have been through a stressful or difficult experience. She considers it a privilege to be able to walk with someone through their fears, challenges, and hurts, and help them experiencing healing and restoration.
