Life can be messy, unpredictable, wonderful, and fragile — and it can also be intense and overwhelming. Natasha values opportunities to slow down and listen to our bodies, emotions, and needs. Therapy is a space where you can do that - and not do it alone. Natasha hopes to help you explore all of your life's extremes and constants. She values meeting you where you are in your life and hopes to work alongside of you as you connect with safety, engage with emotions, explore defenses, build authenticity, and cultivate hope - all the while working together to affirm your inner strength, gentleness, and worth.
Having grown up in the Philippines, Natasha recognizes the important roles of cultural identity, race, socioeconomic background, immigration status, as well as other identities like gender and sexual orientation. These identities affect people’s sense of self, values, beliefs, and relationships with themselves and with others. Natasha strives to help you face your personal challenges and live a life you find rewarding and fulfilling.
Natasha is a Licensed Social Worker who graduated from Western Michigan University, after receiving a BA in Psychology and Biology from Hope College. She primarily works with young adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, self-esteem, life transitions, identity, and women's issues. Natasha has been working in the mental health field since 2017 and has learned that a holistic approach to mental health is integral to a person’s overall well-being. Natasha has been practicing with Mindful Counseling GR since 2022.
